Assassination Rogue

This rotation guide should help give a basic understanding of what to do, what's most important, and how to prioritize Assassination Rogue abilities and cooldowns.

Rotation

1. Deadly Poison or Amplifying Poison (use if talented)
2. Slice and Dice (maintain)
3. Rupture and Garrote (keep on main target)
4. Deathmark (on cooldown)
5. Vanish (on cooldown to reapply Garrote before using Deathmark)
6. Exsanguinate (on cooldown)
7. Shiv (on cooldown)
8. Serrated Bone Spike (avoid overcapping charges)
9. Slice and Dice (extend with Envenom)
10. Mutilate or Ambush (generate Combo Points)

For more AoE damage, use Fan of Knives in replacement of Mutilate or Ambush.

Rotation Tips

• Cast finishers at 4-5 Combo Points
• Refresh Rupture and Garrote before activating Deathmark and Shiv
• Cast Envenom with 4-5 Combo Points at least twice during each Shiv
• Deathmark (doubles active bleeds), benefiting buffs like Improved Garrote or Exsanguinate
• Use Envenom to maintain Slice and Dice, extended by Cut To the Chase
