Unholy Death Knight

This rotation guide should help give a basic understanding of what to do, what's most important, and how to prioritize Unholy Death Knight abilities and cooldowns.

Single Target Rotation

1. Soul Reaper (if talnented & target < 35% health)
2. Virulent Plague using Unholy Blight or Outbreak (Keep up always)
3. Death Coil with 80+ Runic Power or Sudden Doom proc
4. Festering Strike with Festering Wounds (3 or fewer)
5. Scourge Strike with 4+ Festering Wounds on target
6. Death Coil

AoE Rotation

1. Virulent Plague to all targets with Outbreak or Unholy Blight
2. Festering Strike
3. Dark Transformation
4. Unholy Assault
5. Apocalypse on target with most Festering Wounds (ideally 4)
6. Vile Contagion to the target with 6 Festering Wounds
7. Epidemic (spam until Runic Power is depleted)
8. Scourge Strike (spam with Epidemic if near Runic Power cap)
9. Death and Decay

Cooldowns

• Army of the Dead (use with Summon Gargoyle & Dark Transformation)
• Unholy Assault
• Empower Rune Weapon (stack with more cooldowns)
• Vile Contagion
• Unholy Blight (applies Virulent Plague)
• Abomination Limb
• Apocalypse (use with 4 Festering Wounds stacks)
• Summon Gargoyle (prioritize Death Coil when active)
• Dark Transformation (use as opener for AoE)
• Sacrificial Pact (avoid dying)
